I AM RICH... Is it a joke?

Once I was travelling to Bongaon with my friends for a holiday. In the train I found a little boy selling flutes. I can’t recall the name of the boy but I can still remember his struggling story. He is the only earning member of the family. His father is a drunker and his mother works as a house made. His age was hardly 12 years and at this age he has taken all the responsibilities of the family. He makes 15 to 20 bucks a day while his mother earns around 400 bucks a month.

Now this is an ordinary story of a poor Indian family. But you may think that why I am telling this boy’s story. Just think sometimes we regret that we don’t have enough money and also make our blood pressure high when the share market falls or the car price increases. But do we ever thought about those poor little boys, fighting struggling for life.

Just think India is consider as a developing country with a GDP of USD 1,296,085 million ranking in 11th position (according to World Bank) with Four richest persons among the world 10 most richest person’s list. But on the other hand we are having 40 million people fighting for only one time food in a day. They can’t cry if any of their relatives died because if they waste time in crying then they have to be hungry for the rest of the night.

We think we will have a Mercedes at our early old age and our children will have the best education. We can’t sleep at night if the room temperature goes above 24’c. And get worried if the inverter doesn’t work properly. But they dream to have two time food for their children and they wish to have some woolen cloths if the temperature falls below 24’c.

We become too choosy while choosing a house for our family. We check the medical facility and the open space availability. Our privacy should not be hampered at any cost. But they search a place near to any dustbin so that they can get food and shelter together. Dustbins are like heavens to them.

What I forgot to tell that the 53 most richest Indians account for a net worth of US$ 334.6 billion, which is around 33% of India’s estimated GDP for 2007-2008.

Now let me clear what I actually want to say. We can cheer our favorite team (Argentina or Brazil or Spain) in football world cup while blowing a Vuvugela but can’t we support our Indian cricket team or our national club football team while blowing a flute of these boys’s?

Heart touching quotes. Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air, but only for one second without hope. So we hope that This India will change one day, where everybody can get food & stay together....!!!!
